FRONT-END ENGINEER

The Quantum Capital Fund is seeking User Interface engineers, high quality software craftsmanship and designers. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to extend existing functionality and create new features.
- Craft and maintain applications optimized for both desktop and mobile web browsers.
- Implement beautiful user interfaces.
- Co-develop powerful backend services and APIs.
Requirements:
- Extraordinary software engineering talent.
- Passion for implementing beautiful user interfaces using HTML5 and CSS.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript.
- Proficient in developing Ajax and JQuery.
- An iterative approach to building software.
- Expert ability to get things done on a small team.
- Ability to implement pixel-perfect interfaces from designs.
- Experience using new CSS3 features; animations, transitions, etc.
- Capable of understanding MVC Model and reading PHP code
Ideally:
- B.S., or higher in Computer Science or Work experience in equivalent fields.
- Experience designing custom frameworks.
- Active contribution to open source software.
- Experience document-oriented data stores.
- Experience working on a high traffic web application.
- UI design experience, proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
- Experience with data visualization, Pixel-perfect detail-oriented, ,mapping, d3 , etc.
